Gaining Respect in Pop Culture
This site is designed to create awareness for girls that we are not being portrayed in a way that is fair to who we really are and aspire to be.
I wish it was possible for a first impression of me to be “She’s really funny!” or “She seems to have a good head on her shoulders” not “Damn, she has a nice rack!” or “I wonder if she’s down for sex on the first night”. The idea of a guy not looking at me like I’m a piece of meat would make me feel less self conscious about myself.

Women are being very disrespected when it comes to the media today, especially in music. Every song you hear is about a girl “backing dat ass up” or “poppin her pussy”. This is so disrespectful. How can women keep getting portrayed like this without someone saying something. Something needs to be done, and this is why I am spreading awareness about this.
